Lawyer returns to London Bridges Challenge for Diabetes UK
Osborne Morris & Morgan lawyer hopes to raise more money for charity in this year’s London Bridges walk.
Our Wills, Probate and Lasting Power of Attorney lawyer, Sarah Crook, is dusting off her walking shoes as she prepares to take part in the London Bridges Challenge on Sunday 29th September.
The event, the London Bridges Challenge, begins at Battersea Park and entrants will criss-cross 12 of London’s most iconic bridges along the River Thames, passing Big Ben and the London Eye.
Sarah successfully completed the same 10 mile walk last year and in doing so raised £345 for charity Diabetes UK. She chooses to fundraise for this charity as several of her family members and friends are affected by diabetes.
Sarah says of the event;
“I took part last year and really enjoyed it so I have decided to do it again for such a worthwhile charity.
I know a lot of people with both Type One and Type Two Diabetes and sadly it seems to be becoming more common. It would be great for more research to be carried out to try and reduce the impact it can have on so many people
If anyone would like to sponsor me, I would be very grateful, whether it is 10p or £10 – it all counts!”
Each week thousands of people in the UK suffer from heart attacks, strokes, blindness and other life-threatening complications, because of diabetes. Diabetes UK is the leading charity for people affected and fight to prevent suffering and support those living with the condition.
