#TeamOMM row-a-thon success!

Commuter giveaway
#TeamOMM were up early doors to raise vital funds for MK SNAP

If you were at Leighton Buzzard Railway Station on the morning of Thursday 27th September, then the chances are you will have been greeted by our solicitors and support staff as they took part in our firm’s charity row-a-thon.

Our team members, were up at the crack of dawn to head down to the station for 6am to row on a machine, to raise money for charity, MK SNAP.

Staff took it in turns to row at the station’s entrance, whilst collecting donations from commuters and handing out 1,000 free water bottles.

A total of £189.03 was raised on the morning and Osborne Morris & Morgan are pleased to add to this, to make up a total of £400!

Local resident, Cathryn Siddal, was the lucky winner of the free-to-enter prize draw that was also organised, winning herself three month’s free personal training with All About Me Fitness.

Angela Novell, CEO of MK Snap, said:

“A huge thanks to all the staff and supporters of OMM who turned out at Leighton Buzzard railway station to raise awareness and vital funds for MK Snap. We are incredibly grateful for the support.

“Your generosity will make a massive difference to the lives of our learners, people with physical and learning disabilities from across the region.

“Thank you all at OMM so much for your support on behalf of the MK Snap team and our very special learners. We really appreciate the partnership”.

Paul Lockhart, office manager at Osborne Morris & Morgan, based on West Street, said;

“It was a glorious morning, and almost immediately, we started to receive donations in the charity collection buckets. We were really astounded by the generosity of people and are very grateful that they took the time to stop by and support us in our mission.

We are delighted that we raised just over £189.00 for MK SNAP on the morning and are proud to be able to hand over a cheque for £400 in total. MK SNAP are an incredible charity. The money will help them to offer professional support to people with learning difficulties and challenges.

We’d like to say, a big congratulations to Cathryn, the prize draw winner, and a big thank you to Andy and the team at All About Me Fitness for lending us a rowing machine to use and donating such an incredible prize for the draw.  Also, thanks to staff at Leighton Buzzard Railway Station- for, as always, allowing us to do this”.

This was Osborne Morris & Morgan’s fourth event at the train station and are looking forward to planning their next event in April.
