Local Leighton Buzzard pupil wins Christmas card competition
A nine-year-old girl from Leighton Buzzard has won theatre ticket vouchers and a children’s Christmas Hamper in a children’s drawing competition.
The children’s competition was organised by Leighton Buzzard-based solicitors, Osborne Morris & Morgan.
Every year the law firm ask children within the community for help with their Christmas card design. The firm then have a vote amongst staff to choose a favourite to feature on their company Christmas card in return for some special prizes.
For the 2021 Christmas card competition, primary school pupils were invited to draw and design a gingerbread house.
The prizes included theatre tickets vouchers worth £150, a children’s Christmas sweets hamper and a pack of Christmas cards featuring the winning design.
And it was Darci Winter’s gingerbread house which won over the hearts of staff, and won the top prize this year.
Sarah Winters, Office Manager at Osborne Morris & Morgan said:
“We were delighted to once again run our Christmas card campaign in 2021. It was fantastic to see the children’s festive designs and creativity!
Congratulations to Darci for designing such a wonderful Gingerbread house, the entire team thought it was wonderful and you should be very proud.
We would like to thank all of the children who took the time to draw and send in their designs, we loved looking at every single design and we hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing Christmas break”.
Darci Winters, with her family, was presented with the prizes at the offices of Osborne Morris & Morgan.
