Laura Everitt is set to run her first marathon for local charity Harry’s Rainbow

Laura Everitt, one of our conveyancing and Wills solicitors at our Leighton Buzzard office, is getting ready for the MK Marathon- a 26.2 mile race, as part of the MK Marathon Weekend.
The event, taking place on Monday 1st May, is considered one of the best-ranked top 10 UK marathons. Now in its seventh year, the marathon is part of the MK marathon weekend – the biggest mass participation race in the Home Counties.
The picturesque route will take competitors through Woughton-on-the-Green and Woolstone parishes, before continuing through the original Milton Keynes Village and then onto south onto Loughton Valley Park and finally finishing at the impressive Stadium MK.
Laura is taking part to raise money for Harry’s Rainbow, a local charity which seek to provide support for bereaved children and their families. The group also provide opportunities to improve the quality of life of those who need it- by running free monthly groups, trips and activities.
Harry’s Rainbow was set up by Odette and Lee Mould, in memory of their five-year-old son, Harry, after he passed away in 2009.
Laura said of the event, “‘I cannot wait to cross that finish line it will be such a great personal achievement. I have been training for about a year now and raising money for such a great charity is going to get me to the end”.
