Mother-in-law inspires cycle challenge success

A HUGE well done and congratulations to Mike Fitsell, our Costs Lawyer, here at Osborne Morris & Morgan, for cycling 50 miles for charity in the Milton Keynes Bike Ride.
The event, which started and finished at Willen Lake, welcomed cyclists of all abilities and options of competing in either a 50km or a 50-mile circuit, both with on and off-road routes.
Well done Mike
Mike, who took part in the sponsored ride to raise money for the British Heart Foundation, after the recent death of his Mother-In-Law, completed the 50-mile circuit in 3 hours and 19 minutes.
Mike said of the event;
“The day was yet another hot one, but thankfully I was finished by 12:30- before the temperature rose into the low 30s! I was proud to do this ride as a tribute to my mother-in-law, Daphne Kewley, who recently passed away. She was a strong believer in the work of the British Heart Foundation and had made a small bequest to them in her Will. £300 has so far been raised, with more to come. A big thank you to everyone, I really appreciate your most generous support”.

Mike is no stranger to cycling events- in 2016, he successfully completed the London-Surrey 100-mile cycle challenge to raise funds for the British Lung Foundation.

Very well done Mike!
