OM&M’s Medical Negligence team prove their expertise once again
Osborne Morris & Morgan have another reason to be proud, as David Turner, a Clinical Negligence Consultant, has recently been re-accredited as a member of the AvMA Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.
AvMA is a national charity working for patient safety and victims of medical accidents. Panel membership of AvMA is an endorsement of a solicitor’s expertise in medical negligence litigation.
David has specialised exclusively in medical negligence work for more than 28 years and has recovered millions of pounds in compensation for victims of medical accidents. The Medical Negligence team strive to provide expert client care and ensure their clients receive the right amount of compensation for their injuries.
AvMA have recognised David’s application as being a “high standard, representative of a senior clinical negligence specialist with a sub-speciality in catastrophic injury claims” and noted that David had represented clients in “strongly contested matters involving complex issues where good outcomes were ultimately achieved”.
Most importantly, AvMA recognised OM&M’s commitment to obtaining the best financial outcome for their clients noting “We were also very interested to note that you do not deduct a success fee or shortfall in fees from a client’s compensation. That has become increasingly unusual and is a real positive in terms of the client focus of the firm”.
David, who is also an accredited member of The Law Society’s Clinical Negligence Panel, said of OM&M’s approach to client compensation:
“The type of funding arrangement you have with your solicitor can impact significantly upon the amount of compensation you receive for your injuries. It is very important that you fully understand the arrangement you are entering into with your solicitor from the outset of your claim.
Our clients are our focus and we ensure they receive the maximum compensation for their injuries. This is why OM&M is recognised by AvMA – to be different to many other medical negligence solicitors”.
