Osborne Morris & Morgan: proud supporters of SPORTIVE 2019
Approximately 400 riders, including our very own Costs Lawyer, Mike Fitsell, will take to their saddles on Sunday 12th May to take part in SPORTIVE 2019.
The annual event, which is in it’s fourth year, is organised by Broughton Cycling Group (BCG) with the aim to raise money for charity. This year the BCG aim to raise funds for the Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) and MK Snap.
SPORTIVE offers riders a choice of three different routes; the new Cheeky 25-mile, the Classic 50-mile and the Epic 75-mile – all around the stunning villages surrounding Milton Keynes, Bucks and Beds. Brooklands Farm Primary School in Milton Keynes will be the start and end gate for the rides.
Mike, who will be taking on the 75-miler, said;
“Anyone that has met me knows that one of my passions in life is cycling. So, to be able to ride and raise money at the same time is a win, win situation as far as I’m concerned. On top of that I have a brother and sister, Mark and Gemma, who both attend MK Snap. They love it there and the MK Snap charity does a brilliant job of caring for them and helping them to develop their life skills. I would very much like to be able to give something back to MK Snap for all their hard work”.
Practice Manager, Paul Lockhart, said “Osborne Morris & Morgan are proud to support Mike, BCG, it’s riders, and the charities, and so have supplied 400 water bottles for the event. We wish them all enormous luck in their event this weekend”.
