Osborne Morris & Morgan are recertified with Cyber Essentials Award for 2025
What is Cyber Essentials?
Cyber Essentials is a government approved scheme designed to help protect organisations from the threat of most common cyber-attacks.
A Government survey found that almost 50% of businesses and charities haven’t implemented the government’s five basic security practices from Cyber Essentials.
The five key security practices, including maintaining firewalls, running anti-virus software and introducing IT admin rights to specific users.
To obtain accreditation, organisations must demonstrate that they are using all five of the security practices.

Why Cyber Essentials matters
Cyber Essentials provides assurance that an organisation has essential security controls in place to defend against the most common cyber-attacks. For our clients, this means peace of mind knowing that their personal and financial information is handled with the utmost care and security.
At Osborne Morris & Morgan, we continuously work on implementing and managing controls so that we are protected against cyber-attacks.
Paul Lockhart, Finance Director commented:
“In today’s digital-first world, cyber threats are constantly evolving, and businesses must remain vigilant. Our continued accreditation reflects the dedication of our team to implementing robust security measures that protect both our clients and our firm. We would like to thank MIRUS IT for their continued support.”
Osborne Morris & Morgan was first awarded in 2018 – in readiness for the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation, which came into effect on 25th May 2018. To find out more about the accreditation, you can read more here: Cyber Essentials scheme: overview – GOV.UK
