“He’s always there for me when I need him” says winner of our Father’s Day competition.
Mum of one, Rebecca, has won a £50 Amazon Gift Voucher for her dad, just in time for Father’s Day.
Our most recent Facebook competition for Father’s Day attracted a lot of attention as we invited the community to tell us why they think their father (or father-figure) is the best.
Out of all the heartfelt entries, it was Rebecca Coleman’s comment about her father, Gary Coleman, which received the highest number of ‘likes’ – a total of 18 responses!
Rebecca said of her dad;
“Not only is he the best dad but also best grandad to my son and all his other grandchildren. He’s always there if I need him to have a chat or a rant. I love him to bits and he deserves a treat.”
“I haven’t been able to see him since my grandad’s funeral (his dad) and wasn’t able to hug him as my son had hand foot and mouth ? I miss him dearly and can’t wait to see him Sunday! You deserve a treat pops!”.
On the news that she had won the competition, Rebecca, who is currently self-isolating with her sister in Leighton Buzzard, said;
“I wanted to win this voucher for my dad Gary because to me he is the best dad I could ask for. We have been through a lot recently with his dad passing away this year and so, I would like to treat him. He’s always there when I need a chat etc.
I am currently living with my sister, in self-isolation, in Leighton Buzzard – where my dad also lives. I am a mum myself to my gorgeous boy who is one and we just can’t wait to see him soon”.
