Snowmen duo win Christmas card competition
An eight-year-old boy from Milton Keynes has won theatre ticket vouchers and a Christmas Eve Hamper in a children’s drawing competition.
The competition was organised by Leighton Buzzard-based solicitors, Osborne Morris & Morgan, on their Facebook page.
Every year the law firm ask children within the community for help with their Christmas card design. The firm then have a vote amongst staff to choose a favourite to feature on their company Christmas card in return for some special prizes.
This year, the prizes included Milton Keynes theatre ticket vouchers worth £150, a Christmas Eve Hamper and a pack of Christmas cards featuring the winning design.
And it was Tae Petts-Simpson’s entry, featuring two cheery snowmen, that was a big hit with the law firm this year.
Tae said of the news he’d won;
“I’m so happy with myself that I won! Thank you!”.
Tae’s mother, Charlie, said;
“His little face was a picture. He didn’t believe me at first, definitely a proud mum moment when I got the phone call!”.
Sarah Winters, Office Manager at Osborne Morris & Morgan said:
“This year, we received the largest number of entries we’ve ever had. 110 Bedfordshire children took the time to design our company Christmas card and send them to us, so that we could choose a winning design.
Tae’s design won the most votes among our staff, with his two friendly snowmen. A big thank you and congratulations to him and his family for winning the competition.
We hope that they enjoy the theatre ticket vouchers and the Christmas Eve hamper.
