Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury Solicitor/Legal Executive
Hours – Full time, 9am – 5.30pm
Location – Leighton Buzzard Office/Hybrid Working
Salary – Competitive/Market Rate
Due to the development of the firm’s Clinical Negligence & Personal Injury department, we are now seeking to appoint a Solicitor/Legal Executive to assist with existing matters and take on new matters and run them from inception to conclusion.
This role would suit an ambitious fee earner looking for a fresh challenge within a growing practice or someone looking for that next step in their career. Our litigation team pre-dominantly deals with multi-track work.
What we’re looking for
The ideal candidate will have experience of handling a mixed caseload of both Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury claims from a firm that is recognised in the field.
- Grade B Clinical Negligence/Personal Injury Solicitor / Legal Executive with 4yrs+ PQE
- Has handled own caseload of pre and post issue matters worth £100k+
- Able to risk assess new enquiries
- Empathetic and able to provide excellent client care
- Experienced in instructing and working with Counsel and medical experts
- Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
- Strong legal skills with an eye for detail
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and effective communication with team members and contacts
- Willing to get involved in marketing/networking/business development
