About Gurpreet
Gurpreet joined OMM in June 2025 after starting her career at Fieldfisher, where she trained as a solicitor and then qualified in 2010. She has built a legal career spanning private practice and in-house advisory work. Having begun her career in London, she developed a strong foundation in Private Client before moving into an in-house role with the Financial Ombudsman Service, where she gained valuable experience handling complex and sensitive matters with a practical, client-focused approach.
Following her time in-house, Gurpreet went on to lead a team at a respected regional law firm, further strengthening her reputation for delivering clear, strategic advice to individuals, families and small businesses. Since joining OMM in 2025, Gurpreet brought with her more than 15 years of extensive experience in Private Client work. Gurpreet’s expertise includes wills, trusts, probate, succession planning, wealth preservation, and contentious probate matters, advising clients with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail.
Gurpreet is known for building long-standing relationships with clients and guiding them through often complex and emotionally sensitive matters with clarity and confidence. She has also contributed to wider discussions within the legal profession, participating in a number of round table discussions hosted by the The Law Society on key developments affecting Private Client law and practice.
Outside of work, Gurpreet practises taekwondo and enjoys travelling, exploring good food, and spending quality time with family and friends.
