Rafael’s cheerful Rudolph wins Christmas card competition
A BIG congratulations to nine-year-old, Rafael Pierlot- the winner of our Christmas Card competition this year.
Every year we ask children within the community for help with our Christmas card design. We then choose a favourite to feature on our company Christmas card and reward the winning talented artist.
This year, the prizes included two impressive festive hampers from Pecks Farm- one for the child and one for the family. The winner also receives a pack of their own Christmas cards featuring their own design.
And it was Rafael Pierlot’s entry, featuring Rudolph the red nose reindeer, that was a big hit with our team this year.
On receiving the news that he’d won, Rafael, said;
“I’m amazed. I’ve never won a competition before and I’m very excited to receive the children’s Christmas hamper”.
Rafael’s mother, Francesca Pierlot, said;
“I am super proud of Rafael and it was lovely to see him very happy. Every day he goes next door to see our 86-year-old neighbour and helps her with household chores, so it’s nice to see him winning something for himself.
He is one of five children, so the family Christmas hamper will certainly come in handy this year!”.

The Pierlot family were presented with their prizes at our offices on West Street, Leighton Buzzard.
