Gemma joined the firm in February 2018 as a Solicitor in the Court of Protection Team. She qualified as a solicitor in 2011.
Gemma specialises in the management of personal injury damages through the appointment of a Court of Protection Deputy where a person no longer has capacity or through a Trust environment. Gemma is also happy to assist in circumstances where a family member may no longer have capacity to manage their own property and financial affairs. As part of her role, Gemma can assist in helping a person who does not have capacity put a Statutory Will in place to ensure that their estate is distributed in accordance with their wishes.
Gemma is able to help individuals and their families as well as offering support where needed in all aspects of their finances.
Gemma really enjoys Court of Protection work and feels it is brilliant to be able to support clients in achieving something that they may not have thought they could have done.
In her spare time, Gemma loves travelling, going to the cinema, baking, swimming and spending time with family and friends.
