Paul tackles tough challenge for MIND
An Office Manager at law firm, Osborne Morris & Morgan is taking on an epic-and messy-challenge to raise money for the mental health charity MIND.
Paul Lockhart, who lives in Leighton Buzzard, is training hard for the 10-mile, 20 obstacle race, which takes place in the Midlands on 20th May.
The 39-year-old, decided to take on the Tough Mudder challenge to raise funds for MIND, a charity close to his heart.
“Mental health still comes with a big stigma attached and people need to start talking more and getting the help they need”. Paul said.
“I recently went on a mental health first aid course and the trainer said that mental health does not affect 1 in 4 people, but in fact, 1 in 1. We all have mental health be it good or bad.
I hope to be able to help people who struggle on a daily basis to overcome the demons in life and the situations it has left them in. I really appreciate any support and thank you in advance for any donations.”
The event is taking place in the magnificent grounds of Belvoir Castle, where the rolling hills, natural creeks and serene lakes will be filled with thousands of tough mudders, taking on one of the toughest obstacle courses in the world.
Good Luck Paul!
