Free Wills given in November to support Willen Hospice
Osborne Morris & Morgan are waiving the usual Wills fee this November to help raise money for Willen Hospice as part of their Make a Will Month.
We will be offering a limited number of appointments to make a Will free of charge, in return for a suggested donation to Willen Hospice.
We have partnered with this registered charity to highlight the importance of having a Will in order to prevent intestate succession and protect your family.
If you die without a Will, the state decides which family members will inherit your estate and in what proportion, which can lead to disputes within families.
Why Willen Hospice?
Willen Hospice offers specialist end-of-life care to people aged 18 years and over whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment.
The cost for the hospice to provide free care and support for patients and their families is currently £7 a minute – that’s £10,000 per day. By leaving a gift in your
Will you can help to raise urgently needed funds for this local charity.
Sarah Crook, OM&M’s Wills Chartered Legal Executive, says;
“We are delighted to be supporting Willen Hospice, which has such a big impact on the local community. It gives people the perfect opportunity to have their Will prepared and also support a wonderful, local charity. All our free Will appointments were taken up really quickly and are now filled so thank you everyone for your support”.
If you do still need to make a Will, a single Will including advice on inheritance tax (if required) is £250 +VAT. A small price to pay for the peace of mind it provides.
